Course Policies & Requirements
Heartbeat’s CPR Training is committed to providing high-quality instruction that meets American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. To ensure a smooth and effective learning experience, please review the following course policies and requirements.
Courses Offered
Heartbeat’s CPR Training currently offers:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid
Heartcode (online coursework with in-person skills session)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) — Coming Soon
Heartcode (Blended Learning) Requirements
Heartcode (Blended learning courses) require students to complete the online portion prior to attending the in-person skills session.
Important:
Students must bring their completed online course certificate to the skills session. Students without proof of completion will not be permitted to participate.
Attendance & Participation
Students are expected to arrive on time and remain for the full course duration.
Active participation in hands-on skills practice is required to receive certification.
Missed or incomplete sessions may require rescheduling.
Certification
Upon successful completion of the course and skills assessment, students will receive certification in accordance with current AHA standards. Certification cards are issued electronically through the AHA system.
Group & On-Site Training
Group training is available for businesses, agencies, and organizations. Scheduling and location details will be discussed during booking.
Health & Safety
Students should be physically able to perform CPR skills, including kneeling, compressions, and use of training equipment. If you have questions about physical requirements, please contact us prior to scheduling.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellations or rescheduling requests should be communicated as soon as possible. Policies may vary based on course type and group size.
